PREVIEW: Lacrosse at St. Bonaventure

Dukes looking to clinch berth in A-10 Championship this weekend

The Duquesne lacrosse team will close out the regular-season with a matchup at St. Bonaventure (1-13, 0-8 A-10) on Saturday, April 23 at 12 p.m. in western New York.

THE SERIES vs. ST. BONAVENTURE
The Dukes' 19 wins in 23 meetings against the Bonnies is the most against a single team. Duquesne has won nine of the last 10 matches versus St. Bonaventure, including each of the last three games. The Dukes are averaging 15.39 goals per game in the series and are 11-1 all-time when playing at St. Bonaventure.

A-10 CHAMPIONSHIP PICTURE
The Dukes can clinch a berth in the Atlantic 10 Championship with a win OR a La Salle loss at Saint Joseph's. The highest seed Duquesne can earn in the tournament is the No. 5 seed with a win and a VCU loss at George Washington.

A Dukes win, paired with a VCU win would clinch the No. 6 seed, while a Duquesne loss and a La Salle victory would eliminate the Dukes from postseason contention.

The top-six teams in the league standings advance to the championship tournament, which begins on Thursday, April 28.
