PITTSBURGH – The Duquesne women's track & field team competed at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Friday and Saturday afternoon.

Hannah Seitzinger placed second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.86 seconds.
Bethany Evankovich and
Amy Allen took third (59.86) and fourth (59.42), respectively, while
Kaylin Cousin (1:00.43) placed fifth in the event.

Angela Valotta took second in the 800-meter run with a time of two minutes, 20.52 seconds, while
Mara Whalen crossed the final line in fourth at two minutes, 22.85 seconds.

Anna Baxter took sixth place in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking in at one minute, 15.59 seconds.

Haley Hamilton crossed the finish line with the second-best time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11 minutes, 20.03 seconds.

Claire Belton took fifth place in the 3,000-meter run after finishing with a time of 11 minutes, 32.06 seconds.

The Dukes will look to improve on their times next weekend, April 1-2, when they travel to Williamsburg, Virginia for the Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary.
