MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The Duquesne women's tennis team was defeated 6-1 by West Virginia on Sunday in a non-conference match.
Margot Pessy notched the team's lone victory with a 7-6 (7-2), 6-4, 1-0 (10-4) win at the No. 1 singles position against WVU's Ting-Pei Chang.
The Dukes were defeated in straight-sets in the other five singles matches.
Duquesne returns to the courts on Friday, Feb. 18 when they on Saint Francis U at the Alpha. The match is slated to start around 9 a.m.
