THE SERIES - vs. DAVIDSON
- The Dukes and Wildcats will be playing for the first time in two seasons after their 2021 contest was postponed and not rescheduled.
- Prior to 2021, the two teams had met each year since Davidson joined the Atlantic 10 in 2014.
- Duquesne won the first four meetings between the two schools as A-10 members, but the Wildcats have won each of the past two games.
- Davidson's 79-76 win in the last meeting in 2020 was just the second time in series history that the final margin of victory for the winning side was not double digits.
LAST MEETING - Feb. 16, 2020
- The Dukes came up just short when Amanda Kalin's potential game-tying shot at the buzzer rimmed out to allow the Wildcats to hold on for a 79-76 win.
- Duquesne trailed by as many as 13 in the second quarter, before battling back to take the lead midway through the third.
- Former Duke Paige Cannon poured in 18 points to lead the team.
- Amaya Hamilton (14 pts.), Kalin (13 pts.) and Libby Bazelak (10 pts.) also reached double figures in the loss.
- Davidson's Katie Turner scored a game-high 21 points, while Chloe Welch paced her with a 20-point game of her own.
SCOUTING DAVIDSON
- The Wildcats opened A-10 play on Wednesday night with a last-minute 50-47 win at St. Bonaventure to push their winning streak to five games.
- Davidson trailed by one when Cameron Taber knocked down a go-ahead three pointer with 14 seconds left in the game.
- The Bonnies were unable to reclaim the lead on the final possession and allowed the Wildcats to pull out the win.
- It was Davidson's first game in 21 days.
- Elle Sutphin led Davidson with her second-straight 20-point outing.
- Sutphin leads the team with 13.5 ppg. and ranks second in the A-10 and 32nd in Division I with a 56.4 field goal percentage.

- Davidson only got to the charity stripe once against the Bonnies and went 1-of-2 at the line.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Dukes used a huge fourth quarter effort to pull away for a 63-44 win over St. Bonaventure last Saturday.
- Duquesne scored 17-straight and out-scored the Bonnies 23-5 in the fourth quarter alone.
- Fatou Pouye paced the Dukes with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting, despite playing just 16 minutes due to foul trouble. She picked up her fourth foul with 3:06 left in the third quarter.
- Three other Dukes scored in double figures, including Tess Myers (13 pts.), Megan McConnell (12 pts.) and Laia Sole (11 pts.).
- The Dukes opened the game with 18-straight missed three-point shots, before Myers ended the drought in the fourth quarter on the first of three-straight treys.
- The team's 4-for-23 (17 percent) outing was a season-low in three pointers made.
BORN TO RUN

- The Dukes have gone on a double-digit run in seven different games this season, including four of the past seven contests.
