LORETTO, Pa. - Isaac Elliott once again broke his own school record in the 100-meter dash on Saturday as Duquesne wrapped up the 2021 regular season at the Red Flash Invitational hosted by Saint Francis U at DeGol Field.
Elliott ran a 10.36, shattering his own record of 10.42 set two weeks ago at the George Mason Invitational. He has now broke his own school record three times this season.
Collin Ebling posted a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a personal best time of 48.57 to go with another first-place mark in the 4x400-meter dash at 3:23.81 with teammates
Jarrett Boyd,
Shamus Keefe and
Matt Busche.
Tyler Bishop recorded a pair of first-place showings with a mark of 16.43 meters in the shot put and 44.36 meters in the discus. He registered four throws over 16 meters in the shot put on the day for Duquesne.
In addition, a number of Dukes recorded PRs on the day, including
Ian Thrush in the 200-meter dash (21.89), Busche in the 400-meter dash (49.76),
Noah Ball in the 800-meter run (1:57.11),
Casey Conboy (3:57.02) as well as
Nick Fetzer (4:03.63) in the 1,500-meter run,
Sam Snodgrass in the 3,000-meter run (8:30.84),

Duquesne is set to compete at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship next Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2 at George Mason in Fairfax, Va.
