ALTOONA, PA - Duquesne swept Saint Francis U on Saturday to up its NEC record to 16-5 and clinch second place in preparation for the NEC Championship scheduled for March 19-21.
The Dukes opened Saturday's play at Holiday Bowl in Altoona, Pa. with a 974-947 win in the traditional round behind a 247 from sophomore
Kiearra Saldi. Junior
Jessica Cadez had a 197 and freshman
Shannon Small added a 186 for Duquesne.
DU went on to post a 992-947 baker win and took the best-of-seven baker round 4-2 after dropping the first game.
The Dukes finished NEC play with 10 consecuctive wins.
