Duquesne hits the road for the first time this season to open Atlantic 10 play at St. Bonaventure on Friday, March 26 at 2 p.m. The Dukes enter with a 1-0 record on the season while the Bonnies are 2-2 on the year. 

THE SERIES
  • Duquesne owns an 18-5 advantage in the all-time series which dates back to the 2000 campaign. 
  • The Dukes have won the last two meetings after dropping a 13-11 decision in Olean in 2017. 
  • DU has claimed eight victories in the last nine games against St. Bonaventure. 
  • The Dukes have averaged 21 goals in the last two matchups with the Bonnies. 
SCOUTING THE DUKES
  • Duquesne opened the 2021 campaign with a 22-6 rout of Kent State last Tuesday at Arthur J. Rooney Field. 
  • Rilee Bradshaw led four Duquesne hat trick scorers with six goals on the day. 
  • Michaela Connolly recorded a game-high eight points with five goals and three assists while Maddie Hart found the back of the net three times to go with four assists. 
  • Jillian Caroselli scored a career-high three goals and Carlee Braverman registered a pair of goals for the Dukes. 
  • Two Duquesne players achieved major milestones in the win, as Bradshaw notched her 100th career point with her first goal of the day while Hart netted her 100th career goal on her second score at the 14:40 mark of the first half. 
  • Miranda Held and Emelie Curtis each netted their first collegiate goals for Duquesne while Emma Eberly also posted a goal for the Dukes in the victory. Curtis added an assist along with Emily O'Donnell, who dished out her first collegiate assist. 
  • Three goalkeepers saw action for the Dukes, as Mady Piersielak picked up the win making a save in 30 minutes of action. Lauren Bonino tallied four saves while Rachel O'Toole recorded a pair of saves in her collegiate debut. 
  • Duquesne was taking the field for the first time in 370 days.
  • The Dukes started the 2020 campaign 3-3 - with two losses coming to teams from the Big 10 - before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Duquesne finished the shortened season pacing the country in caused turnovers per game (17.33), as both Hart and Sydney Reed tied for the NCAA lead with 3.0 caused turnovers per contest. The Dukes were also second in the nation in ground balls per game (24.83). 
SCOUTING THE BONNIES
  • St. Bonaventure is 2-2 on the year with wins over Bucknell and Akron as well as losses to Colgate and Albany. 
  • Destinee Johnson paces the Bonnies with 10 points on the year including five goals and five assists. 
  • Abby Hiltz has netted a team-high seven goals for St. Bonaventure. 
  • Emily Mahon has recorded a team-best 13 ground balls and six caused turnovers while Rebecca Howe has a team-high 11 draw controls.

The Dukes return home to host Atlantic 10 foes UMass on Thursday, April 1 at 1 p.m. ET at Arthur J. Rooney Field. The game is slated to air live on ESPN+.
