NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Eleventh-ranked Duquesne (22-8) went 4-3 to finish fourth at NEC Meet #1 held Saturday and Sunday at Bowlero North Brunswick in North Brunswick, N.J. The teams competed in a best-of-7 baker format with four matches Saturday and three on Sunday.

The Dukes, who entered the meet on an eight-match win streak faced three of the NEC's four other ranked programs on Saturday.
 
DU opened with a 4-2 win over #8 Fairleigh Dickinson, before rallying from an 0-3 deficit to tie #13 Mount St. Mary's with a 184-167 win in game six before dropping game seven. The Dukes rallied to defeat St. Francis Brooklyn 4.5-1.5 before ending the day with a 4-1 loss to #12 Sacred Heart.

Duquesne shook off a 4-0 defeat at the hands of #23 LIU to finish with 4-2 wins over Saint Francis U and Wagner on Sunday.

DU will be back at it next weekend when it heads to Kenosha, Wis. for the three-day SFA LadyJack Classic at Sheridan Lanes on Nov. 12-14.
