PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne swimming and diving team posted its second win in as many days with a 151-96 victory over Saint Francis U on Saturday afternoon at Towers Pool.
The Dukes won all 14 events on the day, highlighted by three first-place marks by
Katelyn Harkrader, who paced the 100 back (59.34), 200 back (2:07.62) and 200 medley relay (1:48.56) with teammates
Abby Mele,
Mendy De Rooi and
Sydney Sherman.
Sherman and De Rooi added a first-place time in the 200 free relay (1:38.07) to cap the meet along with
Hanna Everhart and
Leah Reisker.
Reisker posted a first-place finish in the 1000 free (11:00.52) while Everhart paced the 50 free (24.97) for Duquesne.
Seven other Dukes registered first-place showings on the day, including
Hayley Taylor in the 200 free (1:53.87),
Audrey Steen in the 100 breast (1:08.28),
Haley Scholer in the 200 fly (2:10.24),
Madison Dickert in the 200 breast (2:26.03),
Emma Menzer in the 500 free (5:15.49),
Sophia Perez in the 100 fly (58.82) as well as
Orla Egan in the 400 IM (4:34.60).
Head coach David Sheets: "The team had another good showing today. The ladies did a great job of coming back on Saturday against SFU and putting up some good swims."
