KINGSTON, R.I. - The Duquesne women's track and field team collected four more medals on Sunday, earning a sixth-place finish at the 2020 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Rhode Island at Mackal Field House.
Bethany Evankovich took home three more medals on Sunday, pacing the 400-meter dash with a gold-medal winning and school-record time of 54.74. She was also part of the Dukes' 4x400-meter relay team which bested the field with a gold-medal time of 3:45.56 with teammates
Gabby Holmberg,
Kel-Lisa Sebwe and
Maiah Yankello.
Evankovich added a silver medal finish in the 200-meter dash with a mark of 24.94 for Duquesne. In addition, Sebwe placed fifth in the 400-meter dash at 57.47.
Maris Seto paced the Dukes on the field side, taking home a silver medal in the high jump at 1.70 meters. She also contributed an eight-place mark in the triple jump (11.49m).
Holmberg also posted a fourth-place showing in the 500-meter run (1:15.60) to go with a sixth-place finish in the triple jump (11.51 meters).
Aller finished fifth in the mile run (4:59.79) while Yankello notched a fifth-place performance in the 800-meter run (2:15.47) followed by Valotta sixth (2:17.25) for Duquesne.
Laura Ehrenberger earned a sixth-place finish in the 1000-meter run (2:56.38) and
Amberly Valeriano placed seventh in the 60-meter hurdles (8.80) for the Dukes.
