Preview: @DuqLax at No. 25 Penn State

PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne lacrosse team heads to Happy Valley to take on the 25th-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Panzer Stadium. The Dukes (1-1) are coming off an 11-10 victory over Canisius last Wednesday while Penn State (2-0) defeated 13-9 win over Lehigh on Saturday. 

In the triumph over the Golden Griffins, Maddie Hart (Sykesville, Md. / Century) paced Duquesne with five goals to go with game highs of eight draw controls, six ground balls and six caused turnovers. 

Following the weekend's games, the Dukes paced NCAA Division I with 17.0 caused turnovers per game while Hart sat second in the country at 4.0 caused turnovers per contest. 

Hart and Rilee Bradshaw (Middletown, Md. / Middletown) lead Duquesne with five goals apiece. Heart paces Duquesne with 12 draw controls, eight caused turnovers and eight ground balls. 

The Dukes are 0-9 against the Nittany Lions all-time, including a 17-6 defeat to Penn State last season at Arthur J. Rooney Field. 

The Nittany Lions were picked to finish fourth in the seven-team Big Ten Preseason Coaches' Poll. Penn State is one of four Big Ten teams represented in the IWLCA Top 25 this week.
