KENT, Ohio - The Duquesne women's track and field team continued the 2019-20 indoor season over the weekend with a strong showing at the Doug Raymond Invitational hosted by the Golden Flashes at the Kent State Field House.
Bethany Evankovich (Edinboro, Pa. / General McLane) won the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.53, while
Kel-Lisa Sebwe (Philadelphia, Pa. / Archbishop Ryan) placed fifth in the event at 57.31.
Megan Aller (New Kensington, Pa. / Kiski Area) paced the one-mile run for Duquesne, crossing the finish line in 4:57.68.
Elizabeth Morris (Doylestown, Pa. / Central Bucks East) recorded a first-place mark in the 5,000-meter run for the Dukes in 17:48.47.
Maiah Yankello (Monaca, Pa. / Central Valley) finished second in the 800-meter run with a mark of 2:14.41 while
Laura Ehrenberger (McMurray, Pa. / Peters Township) posted a fifth-place finish in 2:16.41.
Duquesne's 4x400-meter relay team with Yankello,
Gabby Holmberg (Greensburg, Pa. / Hempfield), Sebwe and Evankovich placed second in the event at 3:46.44.
Maris Seto (Brownsville, Pa. / Brownsville) finished third for the Dukes in the high jump at 1.64 meters.
Tori Kocsis (Johnstown, Pa. / Richland) earned a fifth-place mark in the 3,000-meter run with at time of 10:07.56.
