THE SERIES: The Flyers hold a one-game lead in the all-time series, with Dayton holding a 22-21 lead over the Dukes. Duquesne ended a four-game streak by the Flyers last season, posting a convincing 85-57 win at the Palumbo Center a season ago. Both teams have played better at their home courts, with Dayton leading the series 12-8 at home. The Dukes are 21-14 against the Flyers in Atlantic 10 regular season contests.

LAST TIME OUT: Amanda Kalin posted the fourth triple-double in Duquesne women's basketball history, as the Dukes (11-5, 1-2 A-10) used a program-record third quarter scoring surge to down the La Salle Explorers (6-10, 0-2 A-10) in dominant fashion, 82-56, on Saturday afternoon at La Roche University. The win was the first for Duquesne in 2020 and conference play, snapping a three-game losing skid. Kalin's triple-double consisted of 15 points (6-9 FG), 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while also posting three blocks and a steal against the Explorers. The Gibsonia native's 12 rebounds and 10 assists were both career-highs.

STAT CHECK:
  • After going 3-of-3 from long distance against the Explorers, Libby Bazelak now leads all of NCAA Division I women's basketball in 3-point field goal percentage. She has shot an even 50 percent from 3-point land, standing as the only qualified shooter to make at least half of her attempts this season.
  • Kalin became just the fourth Duke to record a triple-double, joining good company in April Robinson (17 pts. 10 reb. 11 ast. - 1/3/16 vs. Dayton), Orsi Szecsi (16 pts. 12 reb. 10 ast - 11/24/13 at Morehead State) and Korie Hlede (29 pts. 11 reb. 11 ast – 12/8/94 vs. Cleveland State). She became the 16th player to record a triple-double in the country this season and the first by an Atlantic 10 team.
  • Duquesne leads the Atlantic 10 in assist to turnover ratio (1.08), assists (259), assists per game (16.2), scoring offense (73.2 ppg) and 3-point field goal percentage (34.9).
  • Libby Bazelak ranks first in the A-10 in 3-point field goal percentage (50 percent), third in both 3-point field goals made (36), 3-point field goals per game (2.25), and fourth in assist to turnover ratio (1.83), assists (66) and minutes played.
  • Laia Sole is second in the A-10 in the field goal percentage (50 percent).
  • Duquesne is undefeated in games where its opponent turnover the ball more often (9-0).

Off the glass Kyla Whitehead is the leading rebounder (5.4 rpg), but Scaife (4.9 rpg), Whalen (4.6 rpg), and Araion Bradshaw (4.5 rpg) all average 4.5-plus rebounds per contest. The Flyers non-conference schedule was challenging, with three of its first seven opponents being nationally ranked. The Flyers' offense has clicked as of late, averaging 78.8 points and a margin of victory of 22.2 points during its five-game winning streak.
