EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The Northeast Conference is set to host the fifth annual NEC Football Social Media Day on Wednesday, July 24 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
The event kicks off the NEC's 24th overall season of football and features a number of interviews with coaches and student-athletes from the league's teams followed by a luncheon program at the home of the National Football League's Giants and Jets.
A pair of All-NEC selections will represent the 2018 NEC Champion Duquesne Dukes in running back
A.J. Hines (Wilson, N.C. / Fike) and linebacker
Brett Zanotto (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional / Maryland).
The event will air live on
NEC Front Row or
ESPN3 and is slated to begin at 11 a.m. ET. The league's preseason poll and preseason All-NEC teams will be announced shortly after the event begins.

Jerry Schmitt for a live interview at approximately 11:36 p.m.
Former NFL offensive lineman Roman Oben will serve as the keynote speaker to close out the event.
Duquesne is set to open the 2019 campaign hosting Walsh on Sept. 7 at 4 pm. at Arthur J. Rooney Field.
