AMHERST, Mass. - Maris Seto posted a bronze medal finish in the high jump to highlight day one of the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday at the UMass Track & Field Complex. Duquesne sits in 11th place with nine points through seven scored events on day one.
George Mason leads with 54 points followed by Dayton second with 46 and VCU third with 31.
Seto recorded a mark of 1.65 meters for the third-place finish for the Dukes.
Elizabeth Morris registered a sixth-place finish in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 35:45.71, the third-fastest time in the event in Duquesne history.
Bethany Evankovich qualified for the finals in both the 200 (24.46) and 400-meter dash (54.84), placing fifth and third, respectively, in the prelims on Saturday.
Kel-Lisa Sebwe also qualified for the 400-meter finals with a mark of 55.74.
Both
Maiah Yankello (1:01.02) and
Gabby Holmberg (1:02.29) qualified for Sunday's finals in the 400-meter hurdles.
Amberly Valeriano qualified for Sunday's finals in the 100-meter hurdles with at time of 14.48.
