- Duquesne travels northeast to Amherst, Mass. for the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday and Sunday at the UMass Track & Field Complex.
- The championship begins Saturday at 8:45 am with track events, opening with the women's 10,000-meter run. Multi-events start at 10:15 am and the field events will begin at 10:30 am. Sunday's schedule begins at 9:00 am.

- The Duquesne men are coming off a fourth-place finish at last year's championship.
Isaac Elliott became the first Duquesne men's track and field athlete to garner A-10 Most Outstanding Rookie Performer honors after earning a silver medal in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.71 to go with a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash at 21.61. The Dukes' 4x100-meter relay team of Elliott,

Robert Norman and
David O'Such won gold in the event with a school-record time of 40.66. This marked the first-ever title for a Duquesne relay team at the A-10 Championship in program history.Â
Preston Hogue also claimed a silver medal in the 400-meter hurdles for the Dukes, crossing the finish line in 53.24
- The DU women placed eighth at last year's championship. Senior
Jenny DelSignore posted a bronze medal performance in the 5000-meter run on Sunday, crossing the finish line in 16:56.18. In addition,
Maris Seto earned bronze in the long jump with a mark of 5.70 meters in the event.
- VCU captured the women's title last season while Rhode Island won on the men's side.
