PRINCETON, N.J. - The Duquesne women's track and field team registered a 13th-place finish at the 2019 ECAC Championship on Saturday and Sunday hosted by Princeton University at Weaver Stadium.
The Dukes finished with a score of 21. Albany won the event with 76 points while Towson placed second with 73 and Cornell third with 61 points.
Bethany Evankovich paced the 400-meter run at the championship with a time of 55.23. In addition she set a new school record in the 200-meter dash with a mark of 24.33, besting her own previous school record time of 24.41 set in 2017.
Following a bronze medal finish in the 400-meter hurdles at last week's Atlantic 10 Championship,
Maiah Yankello placed fourth in the event at the ECAC Championship with a time of 1:01.89.
Elizabeth Morris recorded an eighth-place mark for the Dukes in the 5,000-meter run at 17:09.52.
Ava Pietrzyk placed ninth in the 10,000-meter run for Duquesne with a time of 37:44.78.
