NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference today announced its 2019 Women's Tennis All-Conference Awards, with Duquesne senior
Julianne Herman (Philadelphia, Pa.) garnering a First Team nod and junior

VCU's Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado was named A-10 Performer of the Year while Jodie Lawrence-Taylor of UMass was Most Outstanding Rookie Performer and VCU's Paul Kostin Coach of the Year.
Herman earns her fourth consecutive all-conference selection and third straight first-team honor, joining former teammate
Kylie Isaacs as the only Duquesne players to be named to the all-conference team all four seasons.
Herman posted a 21-3 singles mark this season, including a 17-2 ledger in dual action at the No. 1 position for the Dukes. She closed the campaign with eight straight singles victories. In addition, she went 20-9 in doubles play with a 15-5 mark in dual competition.
She caps her career with 91 singles wins and 92 doubles victories, both good for second in program history. Her 183 total wins also sit second in school history, as does her 0.835 career singles winning percentage.
Shymansky collects her first all-conference nod after posting an 11-8 mark in singles dual play primarily at the No. 2 slot for the Dukes. She added a 14-6 ledger in doubles play, competing at the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions for Duquesne.
