KENT, Ohio - The Duquesne women's track and field team participated in the Kent State Tune-Up on Saturday in the Dukes' final meet before next weekend's Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championship.
Shannon Taub paced Duquesne with a pair of first-place finishes in the long jump (5.57 meters) and the triple jump (12.10 meters).
Kel-Lisa Sebwe won the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.50 for the Dukes while freshman
Amberly Valeriano placed first in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.81. Valeriano added a second-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.43 meters.
Megan Aller set a new personal record in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:59.80, good for second place followed by
Rachel Valotta in third with a personal record mark of 3:00.60.
Tori Kocsis registered a second-place showing in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:16.34.
