USTFCCCA Division I All-Academic Teams

NEW ORLEANS - The Duquesne men's and women's track & field teams each earned All-Academic Team honors for the 2017-18 season from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced on Thursday. 

To be recognized, teams must post a team cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2017-18 indoor and outdoor seasons. 

The DU women's team recorded a 3.45 team GPA while the men finished with a 3.10. 

All told, 361 teams were honored for their academics by the USTFCCCA, including 220 women's teams and 141 men's. Eight women's teams from the Atlantic 10 were honored while seven men's team from the conference earned All-Academic accolades. 

Duquesne was one of seven A-10 schools to have both its men's and women's teams recognized.
