PITTSBURGH - The Northeast Conference is slated to host the fourth annual NEC Football Social Media Day on Tuesday, July 24 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
The event, which will kick off the NEC's 23rd overall season of football, features a number of interviews with coaches and student-athletes from the league's seven teams followed by a luncheon program at the home of the NFL's Giants and Jets.
All-NEC performers
Nehari Crawford (Fort Pierce, Fla./Fort Pierce Central) and
Matt Fitzpatrick (Pennsauken, N.J.) will represent the Dukes at Social Media Day.
Crawford, a First Team All-NEC selection in 2017, paced the FCS at the conclusion of the regular season with 15 receiving touchdowns. He finished with 1,026 receiving yards during his junior campaign.
Fitzpatrick, a two-time Second Team All-NEC pick and a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, helped the DU offense pace the NEC and rank 21st in the country in rushing offense, averaging 198.5 yards per game on the ground.

The NEC's Paul Dottino and Kevin Gilbride will sit down with Crawford, Fitzpatrick and head coach
Jerry Schmitt for a live interview at approximately 11:29 a.m. ET.
In addition, the league's preseason poll as well as the preseason All-NEC team will be released just after 11 a.m. ET.
The Dukes, who claimed four NEC titles in the last seven seasons, begin the 2018 season on the road at FBS Massachusetts on August 25.
