RESULTSWILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Duquesne women's track and field team earned a 15th-place finish out of 42 teams at the 53rd Annual Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary at Zable Stadium. The Dukes tallied 29 points in the three-day event.
Delaware paced the field with 68 points followed by Boston College second with 61 points and Mount St. Mary's third with 54.5 points.
Junior Taylor Hagins (Washington D.C./Loyola (La.)) and sophomore Maiah Yankello (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) each posted first-place finishes for the Dukes. Hagins won the hammer throw with a mark of 41.75 meters and Yankello bested the field in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.33.
Sophomore Maris Seto (Brownsville, Pa./Brownsville) placed third in the long jump at 5.49 meters while freshman Gabby Holmberg (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) also finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 11.04 meters for Duquesne.
