RESULTS
LORETTO, Pa. - In the Duquesne track and field team's final tune-up before next weekend's Atlantic 10 Championship, the Dukes competed at the Red Flash Open hosted by Saint Francis (Pa.) on Saturday at the Father Bede Track at DeGol Field.
Duquesne tallied seven first-place finishes on Saturday. Freshman Casey Conboy (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) paced the 1500 meter run with a time of 3:58.34 while junior Preston Hogue (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron) won the 400-meter hurdles at 54.05.
Sophomore Alex Long (Waymart, Pa./Western Wayne) placed first in the triple jump with a mark of 14.70 meter and freshman Harvey Kane (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) bested the field in the long jump at 7.07 meters. Kane was also unopposed in the high jump, posting a mark of 1.82 meters.
The Dukes were also unopposed in a pair of relays on the day, as the 4x100 meter relay team (42.06) of freshmen Isaac Elliott (Ambridge, Pa./Ambridge) and Andrew George (Louisville, Ohio/St. Thomas Aquinas) along with seniors David O'Such (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) and Robert Norman (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) as well as the 4x400 meter relay team (3:16.38) of Elliott, O'Such, Hogue and sophomore Kenny Baurle (Pittsburgh, Pa./Avonworth) each set meet and facility records in the events.

Duquesne will travel to Fairfax, Va. next weekend for the 2018 Atlantic 10 Championship. The two-day event will take place on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 at George Mason Stadium.
