PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Duquesne senior Jenny DelSignore (Tonawanda, N.Y./Sweet Home) finished eighth in the 5000 meter run at the prestigious Penn Relays on Thursday night at Franklin Field.

DelSignore crossed the finish line in 16:41.23 in the field of 52 runners from around the country.

Her time represents a personal record and is good for fourth in the Atlantic 10 so far this season.

In addition, Duquesne junior Shannon Taub (Philadelphia, Pa./Council Rock) competed in the high jump on Thursday morning in her hometown, placing 22nd with a mark of 1.59 meters.

This year marks the 124th edition of the Penn Relays.

The Dukes are also in action this Saturday at the Red Flash Invitational hosted by Saint Francis (Pa.) in Loretto, Pa. Saturday's action gets underway at 11 a.m.
