- Junior Shannon Taub (Philadelphia, Pa./Council Rock) will compete in her hometown at the Penn Relays in the high jump Thursday while senior Jenny DelSignore (Tonawanda, N.Y./Sweet Home) and junior Elizabeth Morris (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) will take part in the 5000 meter run on Thursday night at Franklin Stadium, as well.
- Saturday's Red Flash Open at St. Franicis' Father Bede Track is set to begin at 11 a.m. with the men's hammer, the women's long jump and the women's 4x800 meter relay.
- Duquesne collected a pair of A-10 weekly accolades this week, as senior David O'Such (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) earned A-10 Track Performer of the Week honors while freshman Isaac Elliott (Ambridge, Pa./Ambridge) repeated as A-10 Rookie of the Week. Both athletes were part of a pair of record-breaking relay performances at last week's Bucknell Team Challenge, as the Dukes' 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams each shattered school records in those events. In addition, O'Such won the 400 meter dash and Elliott paced the 200 meter dash on the day.
- The DU men's and women's track and field teams each posted second-place marks at last week's Bucknell Team Challenge.
