RESULTS
PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne women's track and field team competed at the Carnegie Mellon Quad Meet on Saturday at Gesling Stadium highlighted by five first-place finishes on the day.
Senior Jenny DelSignore (Tonawanda, N.Y./Sweet Home) set a new Gesling Stadium record with a first-place finish in the 3,000-meter run, crossing the finish line in 10:01.99.
Senior Victoria Soeder (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) paced the long jump with a mark of 5.55 meters, graduate student Rachel Fyalkowski (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) won the shot put (13.28 meters), sophomore Maris Seto (Brownsville, Pa./Brownsville) tied for first in the high jump (1.61 meters) and freshman Tessa Franchi (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) bested the field in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:32.36) for the Dukes.
