A-10 RELEASE
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Duquesne freshman Chyna Beck (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) earned Atlantic 10 Indoor Track & Field All-Rookie accolades for her performance in the 60-meter hurdles at last weekend's A-10 Indoor Championship at Mackal Fieldhouse in Kingston, R.I.
Beck collected a bronze medal in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.80. This represents the third-fastest mark in program history for an indoor meet.
Beck also owns the fifth-best mark in the triple jump in school history at 11.71 meters.
The Dukes open the 2018 outdoor season at the Charlotte 49er Invitational on March 16-17.
