PITTSBURGH - Duquesne went undefeated in both baker and traditional matches in finishing third at the Red Flash Invitational in Altoona, Pa. over the weekend.

The Dukes averaged 189.5 in posting a 9,474 total (4,618 Baker and 4,856 Traditional) on Friday and Saturday. DU posted a high baker score of 1032 in a win over Medaille. Saturday's traditional match play was highlighted by a 973-849 win over No. 23 Lincoln Memorial.

Sophomore Lauren Mayberry had her best-ever tournament as a Duke, averaging 212.0 in earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Freshman Olivia Farwell, who averaged 207.6 was also named to the All-Tournament Team. Kelsey Hackbart averaged 198.4 for the Dukes.

Duquesne, seeded No. 3 for the Championship round, defeated fourth-seeded Caldwell (4-3) in the first round, before falling to No. 1, and 16th-ranked Saint Francis U, 4-2. DU rallied to defeat No. 6 seed Kutztown 4-2 in the position round.

DU finished the three-day event 11-1 (4-0 Baker, 5-0 Traditional and 2-1 Championship).
