MEET NOTES
- The Duquesne track and field teams return to action this Friday afternoon at the Youngstown State College Invitational. The action gets underway from the Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS).

- This will be the second of three times this season in which the Dukes compete at Youngstown State, as DU participated in the YSU Icebreaker in December and will take part in the YSU National Invitational on Feb. 2-3.

- The Duquesne women's track and field team is coming off a strong showing at last weekend's Marshall Women's Classic. The Dukes tied for first place with the host Thundering Herd thanks to five first-place finishes. Senior Jenny DelSignore (3000 meter run) Maiah Yankello (800 meter run), Victoria Soeder (long jump) and Kel-Lisa Sebwe (400 meter dash) all paced their respective events for DU, while the 4x400 meter relay team of Yankello, Gabby Holmberg, Sebwe and Bethany Evankovich captured the title in the race.

- The Dukes men's track and field squad returns to competition for the first time in 2018 after opening the indoor season at the YSU Icebreaker in early December. Freshman Casey Conboy won the 3000-meter run for the Dukes, while Isaac Elliott posted a pair of second-place finishes in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash.

UP NEXT
- The Dukes are back in action next weekend at the Penn State National Open on Jan. 26-27 in University Park, Pa.
