NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced that Julianne Herman is the league's Player of the Week.

During the Dukes Spring Break trip to Orlando Herman went a perfect 4-0, recording a pair of straight sets singles wins. Against Norfolk State, the sophomore from Philadelphia was a 6-1, 6-0 winner and versus South Dakota a 6-3, 6-3 winner -- both at #2 singles. With her partner Kylie Isaacs , the duo won both doubles matches, 6-1 over Norfolk State and 6-3 versus South Dakota.

The Dukes (10-5, 3-1 A-10) will face George Mason (5-4, 0-1 A-10) on Mar. 24 in Fairfax, Va.
