NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - After breaking the school record in the high jump (5-8), freshman Liz Wayne has been named A-10 Rookie of the Week.

Wayne, who also is a member of the Dukes volleyball team, set the record at the YSU National Mid-Major Double Duals this past weekend. To date, this is the best mark of all the high jumpers in the conference.

Duquesne is back in action Feb. 10-11. when they head to Huntington, W.Va. for the Chipotle Invitational.
