The 2016 Duquesne football team will play three evening games this year beginning with the season opener at Youngstown State on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 7:30 pm.

The Dukes will then host Bucknell at 6:00 pm on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Rooney Field and will welcome Northeast Conference foe Robert Morris to Rooney Field on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 7:00 pm.

The three night games will mark the most Duquesne had played since playing five evening games during the 2003 season.

The Red and Blue, who won their third Northeast Conference title in five years under head coach Jerry Schmitt in 2015, finished the season 8-4 (5-1 NEC) and played in their first ever FCS Playoff game.
