Trinch, Wilkinson Named Academic All-Conference

A-10 Release and Teams

Duquesne University track and field junior Kyle Trinch (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) and senior Aaron Wilkinson (Archbald, Pa./Valley View) have been named to the ten-man Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-Conference Team as announced by the league office.

Trinch received the honor based on his cumulative grade point average of 3.89 as an accounting major as well as his athletic accomplishments. He will represent Duquesne at the NCAA Regional in the 400 meter hurdles on May 26 in Jacksonville, Fla. after setting school records of 14.99 in the 110 meter high hurdles on May 8 at the Atlantic 10 Championship and 52.10 in the 400 meter hurdles on May 8 at A-10's.

Wilkinson, who is a former A-10 All-Conference selection in cross country, placed 10th in the 10,000 meter run at the A-10 Championship with a time of 31:04.29. A member of the Dean's List, Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Director of Athletics Honor Roll, he boasts a 3.89 cumulative grade point average as a business management major.

The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league's Sports Information Directors.
