QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne women's tennis team ended #18 Division II California University of Pennsylvania's 14-match winning streak after a 8-1 victory at Rodman Park in Brownsville on Sunday afternoon.

The Dukes began the match by winning all three of the doubles matches. Kylie Isaacs and Julianne Herman were 8-4 winners over Kiefer Shaw and Lena Dimmer, who are ranked #12 in the country, at the #1 spot. Ally Miller and Zuzanna Stelmaszak defeated Holly Bennett and Jasi Witherspoon at #2, 8-6. Megan Wasson and Sarah Shashura won at #3 over Veronica Mikulis and Alyssa Savill 8-3.

In singles, Isaacs was a straight sets winner at #1 over Shaw 6-1, 6-0. Herman defeated Dimmer, who is ranked #30 in the country, 6-2, 6-1. Maddy Adams was a 2-6, 6-0, 10-4 winner at #3. Wasson was a 6-3, 6-3 winner over Mikulis at #4 and Stelmaszak took out Savill 6-3, 7-5.

UP NEXT: The Dukes will participate in the 2016 Atlantic 10 championship. Dated, seeds and times will be announced early in the week.
