NEWPORT NEWS, Va.— The Atlantic 10 Conference announced that Julianne Herman is the league's rookie of the week.

Herman went undefeated in Duquesne's only match this week, a 6-1 victory over Saint Francis U. She was a straight sets winner at #2 singles (6-1, 6-2) and was a 7-5 winner at #1 doubles with partner Kylie Isaacs.

This is Herman's fourth A-10 ROW honor, which is the second-most in program history. Zena Williams won the award six times in 2008.

The Dukes (11-4, 4-1 A-10 ), return to Philadelphia this weekend to play La Salle on April 1st and Fordham at a neutral site on Saturday.
