NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its Women's Indoor Track & Field Academic All-Conference team on Thursday.

The Dukes, who had two members of the 10-team squad, were represented by seniors Autumn Greba and Abby O'Connell.

Greba won bronze at the 2016 A-10 Championships, finishing the 3000m with a PR time of 9:56.34. She was also a member of the distance medley relay team that secured bronze at the 2016 A-10 Championships, with a time of 11:54.62.

Majoring in English with a GPA of 3.98, Greba is on the Dean's List, along with the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and the Director of Athletics' Honor Roll.

At the 2016 A-10 Championships, O'Connell took fourth place in the 500m, finishing with a time of 1:14.31, a personal best. In the 4x800m, O'Connell took sixth place with a time of 9:16.04. Her time of 3:58.02 secured a seventh-place finish.

O'Connell, who has been on the Dean's List, Director of Athletics' Honor Roll and Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, has a 3.74 GPA majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications.

The Dukes begin the outdoor season beginning Friday in Winston-Salem,. N.C. for the Wake Forest Open.
