QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne women's tennis team improved to 7-1 after a hard fought 4-3 win over Carnegie Mellon, the #6 ranked team in Division III.

The Tartans opened the match by winning the double point. The teams split the #1 and #2 matches before CMU was able to take #3 in a breaker.

The Dukes won four of the six singles matches with Kylie Isaacs, Julianne Herman, Megan Wasson and Ally Miller recording victories at the 1, 2, 4 and 6 spots.

UP NEXT: The Dukes are off until March 1st when they visit South Carolina State.
