NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - After breaking the school record by clearing 5-7.75 in the high jump last Friday at the YSU Icebraker, sophomore Shannon Taub has been named Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week.

Taub, who broke the old mark of 5-7 by Sherie Key, also recorded an indoor PR of 16-10.75 in the long jump. Additionally, she finished 7th of 21 in the triple jump with a distance of 35-7.75

This is Taub's second A-10 weekly honor - she was A-10 Rookie of the Week on Dec. 8, 2015.

The Dukes are off until Jan. 14th when they travel to Kento, Ohio for the Doug Raymond Invitational.
