PITTSBURGH - Running back A.J. Hines earned Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the fourth straight week and teammate receiver Wayne Capers Jr. was named NEC Offensive Player of the Week following DU's 54-35 win at Jacksonville on Saturday.

Hines totaled 145 yards from scrimmage at Jacksonville in becoming the first player in school history to earn Rookie of the Week honors four times. The Wilson, N.C. native rushed 28 times for 134 yards and added an 11-yard touchdown catch. The TD reception, Hines' first non-rushing score this season, gave Duquesne a 20-14 advantage with 41 seconds left in the first half. The Dukes never trailed from that point on.

Capers caught nine passes for 235 yards and a school record-tying four touchdowns in the win. The 235 receiving yards, which are the third-most in a single game by a FCS player this season, stand as the highest single-game total by a NEC receiver since November 12, 2005 when Robert Morris' Tyjuan Massey went for 272 yards against Sacred Heart. The total was also 10 yards shy of tying the Duquesne single-game record set by Jeremy Conley at Dayton in 2002.

Capers, who averaged 26.1 yards per catch, recorded either a first down or a touchdown on all nine of his grabs. He scored on receptions of 11, 65, 44 and 15 yards.
