QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne women's track and field participated in the second event of the 2016 calendar year at the Gulden Invitational hosted by Bucknell on Saturday.

The Dukes finished first in four events. Valerie Palermo was first in the mile with a PR time of 5:09.04. Angela Mignanelli won the 5000m with a PR of 18:13.40. Abbie Marquard, Abby O'Connell, Annegret Nehl, Anna Marsh were the winners in the 4x800, crossing in 9:38.25. Alyse DePaola won the weight throw with a PR distance of 48-11, which ties the fourth best throw in indoor program history with Lena Harri (2003).
