QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne women's track team opened the 2016 calendar year at Kent State University for the Doug Raymond Invitational.

The Dukes had four top three finishes. In the 1000m, the Dukes finished 1-2-3, with Abbie Marquard (3:05.69), Anna Marsh (3:07.17) and Bret Luke (3:13.87) leading the way. Gabriella Benninger was third in the triple jump with a distance of 37-9.5.

Alyssa Zukowski had a time of 9.23 in the 60m hurdles was the fifth best in program history.

NEXT EVENT: Duquesne will travel to Lewisburg, Pa. to participate in the Gulden Invitational at Bucknell University.
