QUICK RECAP: The 2015 Fall season opened for the Duquesne women's tennis team on the other side of Forbes Avenue when the Dukes visited Carnegie Mellon on Sept. 11-12.
The two-day event was forced indoors on Saturday.
Duquesne's Kylie Isaacs picked up a pair of singles wins including defeating CMU ITA All-American Vanessa Pavia 6-2. Julianne Herman and Koralie Etienne picked up their first-ever college singles victories in the event. Megan Wasson also finished the weekend undefeated in singles, going 2-0.
In doubles, nine different combinations were used with the teams of Maddy Adams / Herman, Sara Mitrovic / Zuzanna Stelmaszak, Alexa Miller / Wasson, Isaacs / Sarah Shashura, Isaacs / Wasson, Alexa Miller / Stelmaszak all picking up wins.
UP NEXT: The Dukes will travel to Toledo, Ohio for the Rocket Invitational on Oct. 2-3.
