Duquesne's men's track and field team competed in the two-day Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell over the weekend. Kyle Trinch finished third in a field of 42 in the 400-meter hurdles in a school record time of 53.67.

Also turning in top 10 performances were Dino Andrade, who was sixth in the 3,000 steeplechase in 9:26.78, Jared Horne who placed ninth in the high jump with a height of 6-02.50, Trinch who took ninth in the 110 hurdles in 15.41 and Shakeil Carter who finished 10th in the 100 meter dash in 11.16.

In addition, the 4x800 meter relay of Bryan Culley, Bob Gasior, Brandon Krszal and Carl Sturges captured first place with an IC4A qualifying time of 7:40.40 and the 4x100 relay of Ian Welch, Joe Borsuk, Mike Bryk and Carter finished fifth with an IC4A qualifying time of 42.36.

The Dukes return to action on Friday, April 17 as they compete in the two-day Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton.
