Kaelin Shaw scored four goals and Clare Hurley and Tess Drotar each added hat tricks as Duquesne defeated visiting Saint Joseph's, 15-8 Friday afternoon on Rooney Field.
The Dukes improved to 6-6 overall and 2-1 in Atlantic 10 play while the Hawks fell to 5-7, 0-4.
Duquesne scored the first two goals of the game en route to an 8-2 halftime lead. Shaw scored three of her four goals in a three minute, 21 second stretch during the half. All three of Drotar's goals came in the stanza.
Six different Dukes accounted for the seven second half goals.
Clare Hurley also added an assist and game high's of four ground balls and four draw controls.
Jenna Bishop made seven saves to pick up her sixth win of the season.
The Dukes return to action on Sunday, April 12 as they host La Salle at 1:00 pm on Rooney Field.
