Kaitlyn DeHaven scored a career high four goals and chipped in three ground balls and a caused turnover as Duquesne captured an 11-5 victory Sunday afternoon at Mount St. Mary's.
With the score tied 4-4 at the half, the Dukes scored the first four goals of the second half and managed to hold the Golden Griffins to just one tally to earn the victory.
Seven different Dukes scored in the game, Casey Briglia had a game-best five ground balls and Meredith Micho had two goals, four ground balls and three draw controls.
The Dukes outshot the Griffs, 33-9
The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, March 27 as they travel to UMass for their Atlantic 10 opener at 4:00 pm.
