KINGSTON, R.I. - The Duquesne women's track and field finished sixth in a field of 13 teams at the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship held at Mackall Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Rhode Island.
In total, the Dukes recorded 48 points in five individual events and two relays.
Anna Simone won her second career gold medal with a 1st place finish in the 500m. She finished with a season-best 1:14.07 and earned Duquesne 10 points. Simone also scored in two more events - she was third in the 60m hurdles (8.73) for six points and finished eighth in the 200m, which earned the Dukes one point.
Louise Prevoteau won gold in the pentathlon with a score of 3623. In addition to the 10 points she earned in this event, she was seventh in the high jump (5-3) and a PR long jump (18-4.5) for two points in each event.
Abby O'Connell set an indoor PR with a time of 57.80 in her seventh place finish in the 400m in, good for two points.
Jenny DelSignore set two PRs - 17:02.92 in the 5000m, which was fifth and earned Duquesne four points. She also finished 12th in the 3000m (10:02.13).
Sophia Fustos was seventh in the shot put with a PR of 42-5.5 for two points.
The 4x400m team of Simone, Prevoteau, Kim Watterson and O'Connell crossed fourth with a time of 3:52.71 for five points.
The DMR team of Autumn Greba, O'Connell, Abbie Marquard, Valerie Palermo were fifth for four points with a time of 12:08.76.
