QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne women's track and field team opened up the 2015 calendar year at the WVU Invitational. The Dukes finished first in eight events: Abby O'Connell (200m - 27.01), Kim Watterson (400m - 1:03.09), Anna Simone (500m - 1:15.44), Alexandra Johansen (1000m - 3:06.52), Simone (60m hurdles - 8.97), the 4x400m team of Simone, Watterson, Annegret Nehl and O'Connell (4:03.96), Louise Prevoteau (high jump - 5-1.75), Kaitlyn Janusey (long jump - 16-8.5).
UP NEXT: The Dukes head to Youngstown State for the YSU College Invite on Jan. 23. The event begins at 2:00 p.m.
