Sept. 2, 2014 Junior wide receiver Chris King has been named the College Football Performance Awards FCS Wide Receiver Performer of the Week after his performance in Saturday's loss at Buffalo.
King tallied eight receptions for a career high 199 yards and two touchdowns. He scored on an 88-yard catch and run midway through the third quarter which tied the score at 21-21 and caught a six-yard touchdown pass in the back of the end zone on the first play of the fourth quarter which gave the Dukes a 28-24 lead.
King's 199 yards were the seventh most all-time in a game at Duquesne and his 88-yard touchdown was the fourth longest pass play in school history.
