Duquesne University freshman lacrosse player Kaelin Shaw (Laurel, Md./Atholton) has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the week ending Feb. 23.

Shaw had an impressive collegiate debut as she scored three first half goals in Duquesne's season-opening 22-4 victory over Howard on Feb. 19. The 5-5 midfielder also contributed a ground ball and a draw control in the win.

The Red and Blue return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 25 as they travel to seventh-ranked Penn State for a 7:00 pm contest.
