Caitlin Prince scored six of the Dukes' nine goals while goalkeeper Kristen Gregory made a career-best 13 saves.

The Red and Blue struck first as Prince scored a little less than three minutes into the contest for a 1-0 lead. After PSU tied it 10 seconds later, Prince struck again three minutes later with a goal off an Amanda Kidder assist for a 2-1 lead.

However, the Nittany Lions would go on to score the final eight goals of the half to take a 9-2 advantage into the intermission.

DU played PSU tough through the second half, cutting the deficit to four at one point, but could get no closer.

Clare Hurley had two goals and a team-best two ground balls and two caused turnovers while Amanda Kidder had the Dukes other goal and added and assist and two draw controls. Haley Marafioti led the Dukes with three draw controls.

The Red and Blue return to action on Saturday, March 2 as they host ninth-ranked Notre Dame at noon.
